Maple baby room 0mth to 20months

 

​Our dedicated baby room team have designed a warm, cosy homely room for our babies.  A soft and calm ambiance filled room with gentle lighting, and exciting treasure baskets and resources to explore.  

 

We promote safer sleep throughout our setting in line with current guidance from the lullaby trust  so that you can rest assured that your little one is in safe hands.

We believe that  a healthy sleep pattern supports brain development for young children and establishes a routine that helps babies feel secure and comfortable, contributing to overall positive health and well-being.

 

in addition to our lovely baby space we have a decked out door area designed for sand and water play and also an out door grassed field with a larger sand pit and mini mud kitchen, miniature slides and swings and abundance for toys to explore.​​

Chestnut toddler room 20months to 34 months 

​

Our little chestnut room is a natural progression up from our baby room. 

 It's where toddlers learn to negotiate and manager their own risks with some support from adults but also where they learn the foundation for important communication and language skills that help them to navigate big feelings  and help curious minds to put thoughts into words.

 

Our toddler team focus on "in the moment planning" to suit childrens  interests by designing their continuous provision in a way that  allows the children freedom of choice to meet their natural interests and next steps.

 

The adults support the children along the way by promoting a gentle and positive challenge in childs play and helping build  confidence and encouraging the development of problem solving skills.

Our toddlers have a dedicated outdoor field and decked area with  bike track, sand, water, slides, swings, climbing mound and mud kitchens to play in.

Willow pre-school risers Room 34months to 46months 

​

Willows focus more on outdoor learning and take part in beach and wildlife trips, learning new skills and gaining crutial social skills whilst navigating their own  interests for the outdoors. 

​

Pre-school risers will focus on vital independence skills, helping them to take charge of their personal growth and learn how to manage their own needs and care.

Oaks pre-school Room 46 months to school start.

​

With school on the horizon, our Oaks room focus on the basics of early learning goals laying a vital foundation for school readying. 

​

They learn to navigate problem solving skills and the dynamics of emotional friendships through empathy and learn the ability to and start to use a far more diverse language and communication skill. 

​

Whilst we focus on learning through play we also learn  what makes a community and focus on outdoor learning to learn about nature and the landscape we live in.
